Build with Vulcan
A language, a blockchain, and a UI framework built around one portable execution model. Start with a small program. Follow it from source to a running application.
One program. A connected stack.
Vulcan is the language you write. Vega executes the compiled bytecode. The blockchain combines execution with ordering, state, authorization and history. Venus turns application state into interfaces.
These guides explain each layer separately, then show how they fit together. You can learn the language and build a Venus interface without running a blockchain network.
Choose your starting point
- Language: write and run a program, handle errors as values, and test behavior.
- Blockchain: understand execution and ordering, then publish a service to a local development chain.
- Venus: build an interface with signals, components and the browser runtime.
Start locally
The command examples use a source checkout and the tools it provides. A public package installation channel and a public blockchain endpoint are not assumed. Start with Setup for the prerequisites and exact command paths.
About these guides
This is the first consumer documentation edition. Examples target the repository toolchain. Local walkthroughs describe development workflows; they are not instructions to transact with real assets or evidence of a production network deployment.
